Marine Excess of Loss Deputy Underwriter
The Role
- To contribute to the underwriting & development of a profitable Marine Excess of loss account. The job will involve international travel.
- Demonstrable underwriting experience to Senior Assistant / Deputy level or proven Marine Broking expertise
- Experience and knowledge of Lloyd's Marine Reinsurance market
- Qualified to ACII or progressing towards it
- Logical, analytical, flexible and creative
- Numerate with ability to interpret models, statistics and key reports
- Intermediate / expert computer skills with ability to design and maintain complex spreadsheets
- Able to work under pressure
- Team player with good influencing skills
- Desire to travel and build network of market contacts

Underwriting Services Technician
The Role
- Provides policy input and general support services to Underwriters, and controls all aspects of business accounting for a portfolio of business.
- Previous involvement in Marine insurance would be an advantage
- Experience of either London Market technical accounting processing or policy data input
- Knowledge of bureau processing
- Organised, disciplined approach to work
- Flexible attitude in order to fulfil the different approaches of the business teams
- Knowledge of AS/400 database applications useful
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
